The Barzani Charity Foundation has officially opened its office in Qamishlo, coinciding with the 123rd anniversary of the birth of the late Kurdish leader Mullah Mustafa Barzani.

The inauguration ceremony took place on Saturday, March 14, 2026, in Qamishlo in Kurdistan Syria, with the attendance of several political, social, and cultural figures.

During a press conference, Rawaj Haji, Head of the Syria Desk at the Barzani Charity Foundation, said that opening the office aims to provide humanitarian services to residents of Kurdistan and support people in need across the region.

Haji added that the foundation represents a continuation of the humanitarian legacy associated with Mullah Mustafa Barzani, noting that the organization is working to expand its relief and humanitarian activities in the area.

He also revealed that over the past 50 days the foundation has delivered more than 460 truckloads of humanitarian aid to displaced people and residents across various areas of Kurdistan Syria, as part of efforts to support affected families and improve living conditions.
