Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharaa received a phone call from French President Emmanuel Macron, during which they discussed bilateral relations and ongoing regional developments.

During the call, held on Monday, April 6, 2026, both sides reviewed the military escalation in the region and its implications for security and stability.
