Agricultural Bank in Hasaka Begins Distributing Wheat Payment Vouchers to Farmers

The Hasaka branch of the Cooperative Agricultural Bank began distributing payment vouchers for wheat crops to farmers today, Thursday, August 13, at the branch’s headquarters in the city of Hasaka.

The distribution process covers farmers affiliated with centers and branches in Hasaka, Til Brak, Markada, al-Shaddadi, Sari Kaniye, al-Hol, Abu Rasin, and Til Tamr, according to the Hasaka Governorate.

The governorate said that the distribution of payments to farmers affiliated with other branches would take place at a later time.

Earlier this month, the Syrian Grain Corporation in Hasaka announced that its branch had transferred a large portion of the wheat crop payment vouchers to the cooperative agricultural banks.

The first batch included lists containing the names of around 3,000 farmers.
