Al-Sharaa Discusses Judicial and Legal Cooperation with Iraq’s Supreme Judicial Council President

Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa discussed with the President of Iraq’s Supreme Judicial Council, Judge Faiq Zidan, ways to strengthen cooperation between Syria and Iraq in the judicial and legal fields.

The meeting took place at the People’s Palace in Damascus on Thursday, August 13, 2026, where the two sides discussed a number of issues of mutual interest.

Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad al-Shaibani and Justice Minister Mazhar al-Wais attended the meeting.
