An Iranian missile was intercepted over Daraa in southern Syria without causing any damage.

On Wednesday, Iran targeted U.S. bases in the area with missiles, and one of them was intercepted over Daraa without causing any damage.

Iran’s attack on U.S. bases in the area, which the Iranian Revolutionary Guards described as one of the most extensive missile attacks, came after U.S. forces launched strikes on Iranian positions.

. In this regard, the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) announced that its forces had completed a wave of strikes against Iranian military targets.

According to CENTCOM, the strikes followed recent attempted attacks by the IRGC against commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz and against American service members.

CENTCOM also stated that more than 50,000 U.S. service members are currently operating across the Middle East and remain vigilant, lethal, and prepared to continue executing operations directed by the Commander in Chief.
